Refund Policy

This website does not operate checkout, card capture, or an in-browser purchase of comics or tokens. If you later agree a research fee by telephone or email, the following policy applies to that off-site arrangement.

What can be refunded

If a booked desk session has not started and you cancel more than one working day in advance, any fee already transferred by bank details we supplied in conversation is returned in full by the same method where practicable.

If work has begun — for example, indicia already transcribed or a drop window already matched — we refund only the unused portion of time, described in writing by email.

What is not refunded

Completed reading maps, chronology cards, roster indexes, and identification notes are informational documents. Once delivered, they are not “goods” that can be posted back. We do not refund because a later Marvel reprint or a later digital crop changes how you feel about a chapter.

We also do not refund marketplace losses, token price movement, or grading outcomes. Those events sit outside archive research.
